What is Glazing?

Glazing is the protective covering used in picture framing; it refers to either glass or acrylic.

Choosing the right picture frame glass for your framing project is as important as choosing the frame and mat.

Regular Acrylic scratches easily, attracts lint and dust, and can destroy sensitive artwork such as pastels and charcoals. Our acrylic products provide 99% UV protection to help protect against fading and limit deterioration.
